I’m glad you’re here. I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor with over 15 years of counselling experience and an Approved Clinical Supervisor with the BCACC.  I offer a welcoming space to explore the deeper patterns that shape our thoughts, emotions, and behaviours—both within ourselves and in our relationships.

My work is grounded in Bowen family systems theory. I help clients notice their automatic reactions in relationships and develop greater awareness and choice in how they respond. Through curiosity, careful observation, and new insights, clients often experience increased steadiness and more clarity around their roles and patterns in relationships.

Before becoming a counsellor, I worked with individuals facing career transition. These experiences, along with events in my own life, sparked a deep interest in how people differ in their responses to change. This led me to complete a Master’s degree in Counselling in 2006, followed by in-depth training in Bowen family systems theory and therapy, including a three-year post graduate program and clinical internship.  In recent years, I’ve also enjoyed supervising emerging counsellors who are interested in family systems.

I’ve personally experienced the value of this lens. The ongoing work of observing patterns and roles and learning to define myself in relationships has positively shaped my parenting, marriage, professional life, and friendships. I live with my husband and our three children, and outside of work I enjoy hiking, playing piano, and exploring both city and country life during weekend adventures.
